As a qualified company secretary, you can find good positions in the private sector and public sectors, banks and financial institutions. You can also look for openings in stock exchanges, the Department of Company Affairs, company law boards and various government departments. The larger the company and the wider its field activity, the better are the emoluments earned by the company secretary. Company secretaries have the added advantage of setting up their own consultancy business after obtaining a certificate of practice. Hi Dandu,
Let me tell you the eligibility for MCA:
1) Any graduate who has passed or appearing in the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, commerce, arts, Engineering is eligible to apply).
2) Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10 + 2 course or any one year of graduation. BCA qualified candidate can also pursue MCA.

Stages to become a Company Secretary:
The student who would like to join the course after 10+2 pass or equivalent has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretary course-
1. Foundation Programme
2. Executive Programme
3. Professional Programme
The student who would like to join the course after passing graduation has to undergo two stages of Company Secretaryship i.e. Executive Programme and Professional Programme.
Foundation Programme can be pursued by 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream (excluding Fine Arts).
Executive Programme can be pursued by a graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.
