Like if you want to go abroad fro higher studies abroad, you can take the credit transfer course of B.Tech in LPU where in due to the tie ups of the university with universities abroad you can do your first two years in LPU and the third and fourth year abroad and you will be awarded the degree of the foreign country university. You can log in to check this scheme from the website of LPU under the credit transfer schemes or check from the helplines given on their web site. Master abroad scheme also can be checked. In my opinion, both the subjects cannot be offered as core. For under graduate degree. The best is that you can check for the major and minors where you can choose a subject of your interest along with the core subject in which you want to pursue your career. The baskets of subjects from which you can pick your minors or open electives is offered at the time of your admission. This way you can have your core subject along with something about which you are passionate
Check for colleges offering the concepts of major, minor open electives to have a wider sphere of knowledge. You can check for such schemes from LPU which also offers good scholarships besides excellent academics. You can also check for standard education from Christ. Fergusson is another name to reckon in this field. So check the excellent schemes offered by universities and decide fast as seat are fast filling due to the online admission process.

The best to check a college is to logon to its website. Select the colleges of your choice and check the academics offered. Check the faculty and most important, the placements offered. Also browse some other equally good colleges like SRM, LPU etc. Which would give you more than scholarship, that is, check the academics of the college, as well as infrastructure, exposure, seminars, projects, etc. So that you get the best. Last but not the least, some colleges also offer their assistance for getting education loans. Simultaneously, you will have fair idea for the college which would like to ahead with. Eligibility for IAS is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university, there's no minimum aggregate required in this case, you need to be 21 years old and you can apply even in the final year. Now, coming to your question UPSC is more humanities oriented and people from humanities background have an added advantage they're already well acquainted with the subjects included in the syllabus, for Science and other streams they do not study humanities subject at 10+2 and graduation level. But, this in no way mean that people from other disciplines cannot qualify this exam, if we see the previous year trends those from engineering, medical background and alike have qualified UPSC, in fact this is also a very reason that UPSC doesn't discriminate among aspirants and hence allow people from diverse background to appear for the exam, so there's no reason why you shouldn't with B.Arch Degree
Eventually, what matters is your preparation and strategy, UPSC takes two year; one year for preparation and another one for appearing for three stages namely Preliminary, Mains and Interview. This exam tests perseverance like no other exam, and if you're determined and focused, you'll definitely qualify this.
