You can complete any degree to study UPSC exam. Just that the degree should be from a recognised university.

There is no effect of the college affiliation on placements whatsoever. As long as you are in the hands of reputed institutes like CGC Landran, there will be no issue in meeting your future goals. The B.Tech degrees at CGC, Landran are affiliated to IKGPTU and still, the students have bagged placement packages as high as 31.77 LPA.
