Firstly there is no need for any course but you want so can do B.Sc. If you go for engineering then you don't get enough time to prepare for IAS because engineering is such a difficult stream but if you go for B.Sc. So you will get enough time for your IAS preparation.

Different colleges have different fees structure. It depends on you what type of college you are going to choose, Government has less fees as compared to private. So CSE has good opportunity as comapred to IT.

Harvard is not a cakewalk, students usually build their profile from middle school onwards to get into Harvard. You can take the SAT or ACT however they will also evaluate your overall profile. A well rounded student with strong extracurricular activities plus excellent academics are preferred.

Hello,
KSOU degrees hold merit in our country India for state and central government jobs. KSOU has been instructed not to provide degrees outside Karnataka since 2012 by the high court. Degrees obtained after 2012 from KSOU outside Karnataka are not valid until the high court says.
The KPSC issued letters to those who have graduated from the KSOU since 2013, stating that their qualification cannot be considered as the courses have been derecognized by the UGC. Degrees obtained from the KSOU before 2013, however, are valid.
Thank you.

Hello,
Whether a student joins an engineering college as a fresher in first year or directly in second year as lateral admission, the student is going to get same degree. Normally speaking, institutions having authority to award degree and have only engineering stream award B.Tech like IIT's. However, when one studies in a college affiliated to a university that awards degrees in multiple disciplines degree obtained is of BE. Best wishes to you.
