The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to M. Sc. Geology is that the student must have a B. Sc. (Hons.) degree with Geology as one of the major subjects in their undergraduate program from any recognized university with around 50%- 60% marks in the main subject depending on the university a candidate is applying to.

No, you don't need to have a degree in theatres to begin your career in acting. Though polishing your skills by joining a theatre group or taking up a short term acting course would benefit you in the long run. Begin by working in advertisements in order to get noticed. Research well about the acting agencies and production houses. Acting is a highly paid industry but it is high on competition as well. You need to prepare yourself well before you begin your struggle.

Time invested- Certificate are of maximum 1 year duration, Diploma requires minimum 1 year and maximum 2 year investment.
The degree programs would be at least 3 years and could be up to 5 years (in case of integrated programs)
Syllabus covered- Obviously as the time invested differs, so does the syllabus and detail of subject taught in the program. Certificates and Diplomas are more specified to a certain part of the total program offering limited exposure, however degree covers a larger arena and offer
