From placement point of view, Bharati Vidyapeeth is a better option. From academics point of view, Maharaja Surajmal is a better option. Later is better known for discipline and good scores obtained by students.

You can just hope for the best at this stage as the game is not in our hands. Might be in internal sliding or spot round, you will get ECE.

Now coming back to your question, MCE branch is known for its maths and computer application, if you are good in permutations/combination, algebra, probability then this is the branch made for you. Plus you can sit in the interview for the same companies what a COE engineer will sit.
