May I know whether 233 is your common merit rank or your category rank? Otherwise, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru's campus is considered the best NIFT institutes. And if 233 is your CMR, then you can surely try for Bangalore and Kolkata.

Firstly, it is common merit rank and not category merit rank. According to last year's cut off, the last rank from a general category to take the seat was rank 88. Unfortunately, your rank is not adequate to get admission in B.F.Tech, NIFT. Though you can try your luck. All the best.

Fashion Designing and LLB are two complete different courses having no relationship in between. I would personally recommend you to concentrate in one instead of both. At the end of the day, either you can make your career being a lawyer or a designer. You can be both but you won't be able to give your 100% completely in one. So make a wise decision.

You can call up the fashion management department and tell them what you're looking for and they can suggest the right course.
Some courses you could look up are Fashion Enterprise and Business Management or Garment Export Merchandising Management.

Congratulations, for clearing CAT and GAT. For situation test, if you think you are capable of practicing 3D model making and all at home itself, then I don't think you really need any coaching as everything is mentioned online and you can easily get videos on YouTube. But if you are a lazy person who doesn't make efforts without being pushed, then I will say joining a coaching will be better. All the best.

Every department is better in their own way. Selection of department depends completely on a person's preference. Bachelors of design is a 4-year course in which the first year is the foundation programme which is common for all department. From the second year, the specialisation starts. If one is interested in designing clothes and fabrics, he/she should opt for Fashion Design/Textile Design/Knitwear Design. If one is interested in Graphic designing, photography, fashion journalism then he/she should opt fashion communication. If one is interested in accessories then he/she should opt for accessory design. Though the highest placemen

Passport details are not required for the admission in NIFT. You will just need your Aadhar card and birth certificate at the most. The other requirements are always clearly mentioned in the admission forms. One can call the nodal officer allotted to them for any such queries.
