The registered email address of candidate will be used to notify them of the next steps after submission of the AIEED Application Form. A Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) is required to be recorded and shared with exam officials, where you will be able to tell and demonstrate YOUR LIFE STORY and what you hope to achieve in the future.
Also, a Statement of Purpose (SoP) will be required, through which you will be able to explain why you are considering studying Design.

Students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for AIEED PG course. Eligibility of the candidate will be verified by admission officials. If any discrepancy is found, then candidate can be disqualified at any stage of admission process.

Candidates seeking admission to the UG program need to meet the following conditions:
Students who have Appeared for/ or Cleared Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines) are eligible to participate in the AIEED Screening for Design Studies.
Class 10+1 Students can also write AIEED 2024, and qualifying students will be eligible for direct admission in the academic year 2025 after clearing the interaction and PoA stage.

Fill the online application form, choose your preferred Online Screening date
Complete your AIEED Screening Process from 01 to 02, after which Admission results will be declared.
On successful selection for admission, you are required to complete the formalities to ensure the booking of seats on your preferred Design course, if they are available.

It is anticipated that the NIFT 2025 entrance exam application form will become available in December 2024. Yes, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Studio Test. SID will conduct the Studio Test and Personal Interaction (STPI) from May 2026.

To take admission to the PhD through CEED, candidate needs to first qualify in the CEED 2026 entrance exam. Then he needs to apply directly to the participating college. The participating college may conduct further admission rounds, including interviews. The institute's admission portal will have the detailed admission process and requirements.

Yes, IIT Kanpur will offer a PhD in Design course through CEED 2026. Candidates seeking admission to the program need to take the CEED 2025 entrance exam. The application forms for CEED will open in October 2025.
Note that IIT Bombay will not consult any joint counselling for PhD candidates. As such, shortlisted candidates will have to apply directly to the participating institute.
