The two most popular Master design courses at UG and PG levels include BDes and MDes, respectively. Candidates who wish to pursue a Communication design course can opt for degree, Diploma or certificate-level programmes. Candidates can pursue the courses at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in full-time, part-time or online modes.

The eligibility criteria for BDes (Humanising Technology) course at NMIMS School of Design is that candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination in any stream and should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised Board. International Baccalaureate Diploma (I.B. certificate / & D.P. awarded candidates) are eligible only if they have cleared their I.B. exam with a total of 24 credits (compulsory) and passed 3 H.L. & 3 S.L. mandatorily.

The overall cutoff for NID and UID is about 41 marks last year but it can change from year to year so it would be advisable to check Admissions criteria, including cutoff marks on the official website of UID Ahmedabad or contact the university directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information on admission requirements and cutoff marks for the B.Des program.

Yes, The Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) Ahmedabad offers good placements with an average package ranging between INR 8 LPA to INR 14 LPA for B.Des and M.Des students. At the placement drive participation from over 200 recruiters, offering various job roles in new-age domains like Product Development, Graphic Design, and Game Design. Top recruiters included companies like Amazon, IBM, and KPMG. Where as in other hand their is no such good track record for Design Development Academy.
