Hi Anjum, you can get CS in DTU or in any other college also. The placements in DTU are very good and its better than any NIT but I think that, recently the placement status of NSIT has grown a lot. Therefore I would suggest you to join NSIT. But If for some reason you don't want to join it then join DTU. DTU has a better campus and everything and the placements have been growing fast in recent years. But presently NSIT is better.

Hi Ankit, according to your marks I think you will get around 40000 rank. You have not mentioned as to if you have any reservations.
Assuming that you are from general category, then you will not get ECE or any other branch in DTU.
But if you have any other category then you will have to get back to me. And then only I can provide you with the required details.

Hi sumit, to give you the exact answer,I need to know your state of eligibility, and if you have any sort of reservation categories.
Assuming that you are from general category, then your chances of getting almost any branch is very low. Sorry about that. But if you have anything other then this so please let me know and I ll get back to you.

Hi Sutapa, the cutoff in mains will depend also on your marks in boards. Therefore I cannot tell you the exact marks required. But The cut off rank will be something around 12000-13000.
Assuming that you are from CBSE and you get around 90% marks then you will need a score around 230 in MAINS.
If you have any more questions feel free to get back to me.

Hi Aarya, this is a very difficult question to answer as it would depend upon both your personal preference of branch and the college that you would like. But if you want my opinion then I would suggest you to some NIT.
Please tell me if you have some reservations. If yes get back to me. If no the try for some of the NIT. Do some research and find the best of colleges. DTU will not be possible with 50000 rank and without reservation.

I assume that this is message is in continuation of your previous message. So, I think he should try for colleges like Jadavpur university where he would get something like Computer Science if he wants to join via WBJEE.
But if he wants to go for IIT then again he will not get any good branch in any reasonable standard IIT.
So my best guess would be to join Jadavpur University with CS.

Hello sir, as he is from Jharkhand he will be considered outside delhi category. Therefore the cutoff will be very high . So I cannot promise you very good branch in DTU. Based on the previous records I assume he will be getting branches like Engineering Physics or Civil Engineering.
So I would like to suggest to try for other colleges which can provide you with better branch.
