There is no such criteria to get admission in DTU without giving JEE Mains as you will have to qualify for JEE with decent score. So if you wish to get seat in DTU then it is advisable to crack JEE with good marks and apply for JAC Delhi counseling.

NIOS improvement exams are conducted for students who want to improve their marks in the board exams. If a student appears for the NIOS improvement exam and scores more than 60% in PCM, it may increase their chances of getting admission to DTU or other colleges. According to the expected cutoff of DTU 2023 for software Engineering, which is 17842, you hold a high possibility to get your desired stream. But the cutoff depends on various factors such as rank secured in the JEE Main examination, availability of seats, choice filling, reservation criteria, etc. The minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised board of education. If you qualified all the above criteria, you will be able to get your preferred course.

It is unlikely that you can get admission to Delhi Technological University (DTU) with 60 percentile even if you belong to the EWS category. The cut-off percentile for admission to DTU varies every year and depends on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the number of seats available in the course, etc. However, you can explore other engineering colleges and universities where you may have a chance to get admission with your percentile. You can check the cut-off list of various colleges and universities to get an idea of which institutions you can target based on you
