No, Duolingo does not announce a public list of speaking topics. However, candidates can prepare by practicing with commonly encountered themes such as food, family, studies, work, and entertainment. You need to focus on improving speaking skills. This will help you in every topic you want to speak.

This section is like a conversation. You need to listen carefully to the prompt. Yoy have to keep your answer open-ended, not just yes or no. Give detailed answers. Talk like that, you are talking to a real person.

Yes, one question type has been removed, and another has been replaced after the new change in the Duolingo English Test. The Read Aloud question type is being removed from the test to maintain the current test length. To maintain the test duration, updated Interactive Speaking will replace the Listen, Then Speak question type.

Duolingo continuously fine-tunes all its question types. While the Listen and Respond format remains, they may update the types of audio prompts or response expectations slightly. Always review the latest official practice materials.

You should aim for at least 2 to 3 official practice tests before your real Duolingo English Test. This helps you get comfortable with the adaptive format of test and manage time. However you can take more than 2 to 3 according to your preferences. Focus on understanding mistakes and improving rather than just taking many tests.

It saves you from shock. You learn the adaptive format. Questions get harder if you are right. Papers teach time management. You find weak spots like dictation. Practice makes you faster.

You cannot get a static PDF of the actual test questions. DET test is dynamic and adaptive. You should use the official free practice test available on the Duolingo website, which accurately mimics the real experience.

No science books needed. Topics are general. Like hobbies, family, or travel. Maybe talk about a favorite movie. It is about your life. Just know common words. Be ready to explain your opinions.
