CS and ECE are two domains playing a crucial role the present digital world. ECE deals with electronics, some of electrical subjects and communication subjects. Colleges provide some of the computer courses in ECE like C, DSA, CO, OS, SE, DBMS etc. It is similar with CS domain also you can find some of the ECE subjects in addition with CS subjects in under graduation program. But if we look according to placement category, students from CS domain will get placed faster because of their knowledge in software sector. Since ECE students will also have good knowledge in their sector as well as some basic knowledge in software field but not as depth as CS students learn. This makes the difference.
Since both engineering branches have their own importance, CS is the best domain for a student who are interested to learn about computers and networking. However, the future will be totally digital world and software plays a crucial role,that is why CS is best.

In order to pursue masters degree from universities in US, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests:
1. GRE.
2. TOEFL or IELTS.
For admission in masters degree in American universities you need to have GRE score of 300 plus, IELTS score of 7 with no individual band below 6.5 or TOEFL score of 90 with no band less than 20.
