You need to have at least 55% marks in your bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and pass relevant entrance tests with excellent marks.
This is a general eligibility requirement and may vary from college to college. For example the IITs need at least 60% marks in your bachelor's degree to be eligible for admission to the M.Tech EE course.

To be eligible for admission to the Diploma in Electrical Engineering at School of Engineering and Technology NIU. you must meet the eligibility criteria that is - the candidate must have passed the 10th standard with at least 50% marks. Candidates have to pass the diploma entrance exam conducted by the University. Also the candidate should have Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the 10th standard for admission.

Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering is a four years programme. Minimum eligibility criteria to pursue Electrical Engineering (BTech) is class 12 pass in PCM/PCMB subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised school or university or equivalent. To pursue Electrical Engineering at post graduate level, the candidate must have a BTech degree in Electrical Engineering.

Candidate must have passed a Minimum of three years / Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45 percent marks (40 percent marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

There is another counselling after JoSAA which is known as CSAB Special Round Counselling. And here in the 1st CSAB Round itself the cutoff for EE in NIT-KKR is around OBC Rank 27k which shows that you can easily get EE in NIT-KKR if you are enrolled for CSAB Councelling. Leave EE, you can easily get CSE in NIT-KKR if you have registered for CSAB Counselling. Good Luck for your Counselling!
