To take admission to UCSD MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering course, the applicants are required to have a BS/MS degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics from an accredited university. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Other admission requirements are given below:

To get admission to the M Tech in Electrical Engineering course, you should meet the eligibility criteria and clear relevant entrance tests like GATE, Andhra Pradesh PGECET, TS PGECET, etc., with excellent marks to get hold of a seat at a decent college.

You need to have at least 55% marks in your bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and pass relevant entrance tests with excellent marks.

This is a general eligibility requirement and may vary from college to college. For example the IITs need at least 60% marks in your bachelor's degree to be eligible for admission to the M.Tech EE course.

The M Tech in Electrical Engineering course has a general time span of 2 years that is split into four semesters. Almost all of the M.Tech courses in India are 2 years long, except for the integrated BTech-MTech and MTech-PhD Electrical Engineering courses that lets you earn a dual degree in Electrical Engg.
