Of course, go for DY Patil CSE, it's a better option. In comparison or as per ranking, DY Patil is good and you are getting CSE too, so that's good. My recommendation is to go for DY Patil CSE. DY Patil is a reputed college and the academics as well as placements over there are good.

If you really want to join automation industry after your degree, then it will really be helpful for you. Industries like Honeywell automation, Mitsubishi etc. Can give you a wonderful exposure. So, develop the skills add up these in your resume and keep going. Good luck.

From the last few years, the placement department of ECE is a matter of concern for the college. It is so because there is only one mass recruiter i.e. Infosys and in the last few years, the intake of Infosys has fallen down. Talking about the facts and figures, it is seen that approximately 60% of the students get placed every year.

I have asked my friend at Thapar Institute. According to him,
mechanical engineering is good as compared to ECE as it is a core branch, and faculty and placements are also good in Thapar.

ECE stands for Electronics and Communication Engineering. EEE stands for Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In ECE, you get to study about the basic electronics initially with networking and fundamentals of communication. In EEE, you will get to learn about basic electronics along with the electrical part.
