Yes, it does for sure. Actually, ECE is the one of most interesting and tough to handle stream. You get exposure of multiple fields and you can pick your domain according to your choice. There aren't so many choices in any other domain, and you can also opt for government sector as government has vacancies for electronics engineers and public sector is always an option.
