Electronics and communications engineering is one of the vast and rapid growing field of engineering. The fact that scope of ECE in India is not high with respect to corporate jobs is quite acceptable as compared to other branches like CS and IT , however still some private companies like Qualcomm , Samsung , Intel , NVidia, etc . prefer to hire ECE undergraduates in India with a good CTC. But in the government sector the scope for ECE undergraduates is quite high for example companies like DRDO, BEL , BHEL, BDL, ISRO, Navy, BSNL ,Indian railways ,etc. hire ECE students even Maharatna and Navratna companies like CIL ,NALCO, IOCL,etc. h
