I think ECE is better as compared to Techno's CSE. Moreover, it all depends upon you and your interest. Go for the branch that interests you. If you are good you can be successful anywhere.

Sorry, you can't get ECE in BMSIT, The closing rank for ECE is 1821, but you can get a national level institute easily.

ECE stream provides opportunities in varies fields like VLSI, embedded, signal processing, RF design, PCB design, analogue electronics, etc., you have a wide range of opportunities, so you can do more projects. If you are planning for higher studies ECE is a better option.

It's better to do mini projects in each and every semester.Try to learn Arduino and implement things based on lab equipment. Ex: op-amp, transistors and timers.
