In NIELIT Agartala CGPA is calculated on a 10-point grading system. Grade 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2
CR (credits) and GP (grade points)
Addition of all subject CR*GP / Addition of all subject CR = SGPA
CR * GP / CR = CGPA (included all semester)

If you miss one internal exam then you should try to do better in the next one. Although you will get Zero in the exam you were absent. But at first contact with your mentor and state your problem, they may consider according to your situation

Yes, Nielit Agartala have it's own seperate girls and boys hostel and canteen. It, s cheaper to stay at hostel rather than renting a room.

College life is enjoyable. They organize Saraswati puja and fest every year. Nielit Agartala has a library but does not have a gym.

First of all it's not an university. It's an Institute affiliated with Tripura University. You can say it's a decent institute. In my opinion, if you have choices to go to NIT then don't choose this institute. Just go for NIT.

Post Matric Scholarship Available For SC, ST, OBC student. You can get scholarship through NSP portal. Though tution fee is free for SC and ST students

Dress code for students:
If you are a new student then wear formal. Don't wear anything that's too exposed.
White shirt and grey pants for boys and salwar, kameez, dupatta for girls. Where dupatta and salwar are white. Kameez is grey. ( Remember this gray is not actually gray, but it looks like grey).
For faculty members and officials
shirt (m), t-shirt (m), pants (m), formal (m), jeans (m), saree (f), 3-piece salwar kameez (f), and other formal dresses.
