Please mention your specialization in Diploma in mechatronics. In general, it is a peculiar branch and a tough one to pursue.
And its not like mechatronics is just a combination of mechanical and ECE and bit electrical. You will have knowledge about all dis branches so job opportunity is more but its not a core branch. Not very sure of the placements from this branch but all i can say is if you look at at he placements perspective , rather can opt to go for General B.Sc in electronics as it is more easily available and placements chances are also high. Firstly, you have to decide as to from which university you want to do Ph.D. Secondly, you need to appear for and clear entrance test conducted to select students who can register for Ph.D. Thirdly, you need to get accepted by the guide for this programme.
