In your case, you are inquiring about admission in the branch of CSE or electronics or electronics and communication. Now to me CSE looks quite difficult since almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and hence cutoffs are really stiff. However I feel that you have quite bright chances for the other two branches that you are desiring. In addition I would like to recommend to you to download college predators available on the net. Both Full Time & Part time Ph.D. programs are available in LPU. In Case of Ph.D. Part Time programme, applicants are required to submit NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Other than Engineering disciplines, Students who have done their Masters in Distance Mode, are eligible for Ph.D. programme. Eligibility for Ph.D. programme is as follows,

3)M.Phil (Regular) + Interview
Duration of Ph.D. programme will be Minimum 3 Years & Maximum 6 Years (2 Years relaxation is also there for the female students). LPU offers flexible course work in three different options and tentative schedule is mentioned below:
Option I Duration - One semester - August to November 2021 - Saturdays 03:00 P. M. - 05:00 P. M. Sundays 09:00 A. M. - 04:00 P. M. Option II Duration - 4 days* every month (*preferably every second week (Thursday-Sunday) September to December 2021- 09:00 A. M. - 06:00 P. M. (daily)
Option III Duration - 15 days - November to December 2021 - 09:00 A. M. - 06:00 P. M. (daily)
For Full Time Ph.D. students :
After presenting a State-Of-the-Art (SOTA) seminar, there is fair chance to the students to pursue teaching assistantship in LPU only. Though the selection is completely depends upon selection committee & requirement. Scholarship Opportunity:

1)Upto 90% for Full Time and 70% for Part Time on the basis of LPU NEST cut off
2)Scholarship of up to 90% of the Programme fee is offered in Ph.D. programmes on the basis of GATE/ GPAT/ SPM/ JRF/ NET (LS)/ affiliations and/ or research outcomes.
