Any sort of engineering may it be mechanical or any engineering from any discipline is facing huge competition now-a-days in India, due to flood of candidates pursuing B.Tech from rural to urban colleges. It might not be completely true to say that most of the mechanical engineers are unemployed, but low-wage hiring system is prevalent, because of high number of candidates and promotion and growth rate has slowed down extremely. Salary of a Marine Engineer trainee will be between INR. 25k to INR. 40 k per month.
