Engineering Admission Process

It is completely based on the JELET exams but if you want to take admission in Techno India Group I would like to say that they usually don't give admission in the main campus, they will give you admission in the colleges that are affiliated to Techno India University. So please be aware of that and their other colleges like Adamas University and JS University in West Bengal.

You can surely take admission in 2nd year of B.Tech.

Your diploma percentage is quite low because most of the colleges and Universities want 60% marks students in the lateral entry. Moreover, there colleges which I can suggest for you, you can call of them or email them but do that first because the admission time is about to end up. Firstly, you can try out Vivekananda Global University Jaipur website is vgu.ac.in and secondly you can try Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar and website is lpu.in.

Did you do your Diploma before doing B.Tech? If yes, then you would have better chances for placements than normal B.Tech courses and the placement completely depends on the campusing done in your college/university.

If you want to get a good college for lateral entry then you have to take the exams like JELET & LEET.

The cutoff varies every year according to the number of students applying for examination and number of seats available. It would be advisable that you get in touch with college authorities/official page directly for accurate cutoff.

If you have done BCA or B.Sc IT then you can go for lateral entry.

If you are studying in less popular college or have a problem with you in the college then you can sure change your college as this IIIT is also a private but this is autonomous college so this is quite good so it good to join.

Theoritically it is feasible to change college in second year but practically it is extremely difficult and full of challenges. For change to take place, both new college must be ready to give you admission and old college be ready to release you. Sometime old college may ask you to deposit left over three years fee to release you as their seat may go vacant. Also new college may charge first year fee again. But it is worth trying option.
