Given below is the list of Top engineering colleges in South India 2019. South India can be well called the capital of engineering education in India. Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical engineering are most preferred streams of study along with other non-conventional streams. Admission depends upon the procedure followed by the college. In some cases, the institution conducts an entrance test while in others admission is conducted on the basis of merit in qualifying exam.

Hi,A lot of colleges have a good placement record. To name a few, in my knowledge, PESIT, RVCE, BMSCE, MSRIT, BIT, DSCE, RNSIT, BNMIT, SJBIT, JSS. Also, check with a few alumni from the colleges you are looking at, to get a better firsthand information.

Well, it definitely varies from college to college and course to course. And yes, each year could have a variation too, if not too much. Hence, the best would be to take the phone number of the college from their website, have a chat with the admissions department so you know the figure. Some may insist that you visit in person. Do it and get all the details.

Hello Harshil,After 10th standard you can definitely choose to go for Diploma in Engineering in different branches. There are very many branches of Engineering where you can do Diploma studies after class 10th. The admission to these different Diploma courses is actually dependent on the state from which you come from. Some States conduct an entrance exam while others base their admission on the marks obtained in class 10th.
