Aeronautical engineering is ofcourse one of the most sought after branches. It's always good to go for it immediately after 12th. You have not mentioned as to where you have scored these 185 marks.

No colleges in Maharashtra offer admission via board's marks so you need to attempt JEE Mains or MHCET to get colleges of Maharashtra.

1) IIT Madras
2) VIT, Vellore and Chennai
3) Amrita University
4) Sastra University
5) Anna University
6) SRM University (main campus)
7) MIT, Chennai
8) PSG Coimbatore
9) Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai
10) Vel Tech University
11) Sathyabama University
12) BS abdur rahman university (crescent university)
These are some of the institutions that I know and these are better in terms of placements, exposure and education also.
