To be very frank, these days I feel there is more scope for interdisciplinary work as compared to working on specifically one core domain. Even the research funding for basic research and research in core fields in reducing day by day as there is a lot less area left to work on.

It depends upon your category if one is of OBC then he/she will BET getting the IIIT, NIT, etc. But if one is from general category then you might get any NIT. But it depends upon the cutoff of JEE Mains 2018. Since the result is not released yet I can't say about the seat allotment procedure. It may vary this year. If the cutoff is low then chances will increase but otherwise it will be hard for general category.

I can't differentiate which is better because both have different scope and career path. You can select any programme according to your interest. Selecting course is all about passion, your passion for your course and for your future career. Because the secret to happiness is being able to love whatever it is you do in life. The most important consideration when choosing your course is asking yourself why you are looking to study. It's really important to think about what you are interested in, and what course you want to study. Is it because you can see your exciting, glittering career ahead?

Admission into NIT does not depend only on your JEE score. They also take your 12 grade percentage and many more. 80 is not that good a score but you might have a chance if your other scores are high.

Hello dear,
Unlike other engineering programs you do not get a degree or Diploma after completion of course. This is a certification course. During the course one is trained to clear the licence exams conducted by DGCA (governing body for aviation) apart from the regular exams conducted by college. Clearing of the Gov license exams are mandatory (pass Mark is 70%) to become an engineer. Completion of the course of 3 years does not satisfy the requirements to be an engineer & may need to work as an aircraft technician for aminimumof 2 additional years on any aircraft. Aviation sector is still unstable with most of the airlines reporting
