To qualify for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, expected cutoff for the general categories is 40 marks out of 160. There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST categories. They are usually expected to score around 30-35 marks to qualify in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.

Candidates must score atleast 25% of the total marks to qualify in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2026. Since the exam is conducted for 160 marks, the qualifying score is 40 marks.

You don't really need any skills before joining a Chemical Engineering course. The curriculum will teach all the basics required in the field. Also, internships, projects, seminars, etc., will help you gain practical skills. 

But having some capabilities beforehand will be plus and help you succeed faster.

The Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2026 cutoff will be available after the counselling begins. Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2026 cutoff can be checked on the official counselling website of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. The counselling website for this year will be active only after the results are announced.

Of course, it is. Chemical Engineers are hired in multiple sectors in India. Power & Energy, Pharma, Agriculture, and so on. Both the government and private sectors hire Chemical Engineering professionals for many job roles.

It depends. If you want a quick way to enter the industry, a BTech is a great option. BTech graduates are valued in every industry with decent starting packages. 

An M.Tech is apt for only those who are more into research-based roles, or maybe planning to pursue a PhD, or want to become a professor.

Through the BITSAT slot booking, candidates can choose their preferred exam date and shift timings. Though not compulsory, candidates are advised to book their slots for BITSAT. It will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Moreover, if a candidate fails to book their slots, the authoritues will allot them a slot randomly.
