To join PCTE Group of Institutes – Campus -2 BTech programme, students must have completed Class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Additionally, students must have studied Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects as well. Admission to the course is merit-based. Interested students can apply online. JIS College of Engineering M.Tech is a two-year course comprising four semesters. In each semester, students are taught various core and elective subjects relevant to their chosen specialisations. Each subject carries certain credit points as the course curriculum is based on the CBCS scheme. In addition to the theoretical and practical subjects, the course curriculum also includes a Dissertation carrying 16 credits which is to be submitted during the final semester of the course.

The M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) curriculum followed at JIS College of Engineering is spread over a period of two years. JIS College of Engineering accepts the exam scores of three entrance exams for admission to its two-year M.Tech course. These exams are GATE, PGET and CEE-AMPAI-WB. Aspirants are required to separately apply for an one of these exams by visiting their respective official websites. The exact exam schedules may vary yearly. However, the tentative application cycles for these exams are as follows:
- GATE: Aug (year preceding the admission year)
- PGET: June
- CEE-AMPAI-WB: Aug-Oct

There is no way to get direct admission to a computer Science course at VIT Vellore. You have to go through VITEEE Entrance test and admission will be based on the cutoffs score for the Entrance Exam. There is also a provision for management seats but the fees is really high. For that you need not to appear for VITEEE but seats are very less. Admission will be direct.
