REC is a great college for studies, and a good campus for college life.
Placements: 95 percent of students are placed in my college. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the highest package is 27 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Hyundai, TCS, Infosys, etc. Nearly 95% percent of the students got internships in companies like Retech Private Limited. The top role is a machine learning analyst.
Infrastructure: REC provides good facilities and infrastructure. They provide free Wi-Fi in many places in the college. Labs consist of high-speed Ethernet. Classrooms are neat and good. Some classrooms consist of smart boards and AC. The library is also good and big. The college provides only vegetarian food in the hostel, and the quality of food is good. For sports and fitness, there is a newly built gym and a swimming pool. There is also a playground to play sports like cricket, etc. REC also have a football turf too.
Faculty: Teachers in the REC are good at explaining the concepts of lessons to us. They are all well-qualified in the domain they are teaching. In short, teachers are great. The curriculum is more than enough for the students to become ready for the industry, and for them to get placed. Theory semester exams are easy, but practicals are tough. The pass percentage is 82 percent.

It is a good college if we want to study and get good industry exposure.
Placements: 80-90 percent of students got placed. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Google, and Amazon hire students. 80-90 percent of students got internships in almost all MNCs and other consulting and software companies. Software development and AI ML engineer are the top roles offered in the course. Good training is also provided here.
Infrastructure: Our college has good AC labs and ventilated classrooms. The quality of the food is nice. We have an ambulance and a medical room for emergencies. Sports and games are good, and the college students won at the state and national levels. The quality of food is good, but we only have vegetarian food here. Dominos, blackbuck, and CCD options are available here.
Faculty: Our college has good teachers. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. We have a dedicated workshop and other minor degree courses, which make students industry-ready. Exams are difficult as we have to study and understand the whole portion, as most of the questions are AI-generated. The pass percentage is 90 percent.

I am totally disappointed because of their infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 60 percent of students are placed in my batch. Out of that, only 40 percent are placed in technical roles, and the remaining 60 percent are placed in sales and customer support roles. Some core companies come for campus recruitment, but they take only a few from our college. Service-based companies like TCS, Accenture, and CTS recruit a large number of people from our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is not good. They mostly concentrate on culturals and promotions, not on the quality of education. They take a large number of students but don’t have enough classrooms for them. Restrooms are not clean. Wi-Fi facility is present only in name. Most of the components do not work in the laboratory. Overall, the infrastructure is the worst in our college. Hostel rooms are quite good, and food is also decent. Our college encourages cricket, football, basketball, and squash.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are doctorates, but their teaching is not at that level. The course curriculum is prepared well but slightly outdated. Semester exams are easy to pass. You need to get 50 percent in theory papers; for Lab Oriented Theory (LOT) papers, you have to get 50 percent in both theory and practical.

Overall a good college with good placements.
Placements: Placements of this college are above average. Most of the companies are IT-related. There are also some core placement opportunities. If you are well prepared, you can get opportunities easily. The highest package will be 9 LPA, the lowest will be 3.2 LPA, and the average package will be 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is sufficient for academic needs. Classrooms are not spacious, and they have basic facilities like boards and projectors. The campus is overcrowded. The quality of the hostel is very bad. They didn't allow non-veg in hostels during my period, but I heard that they changed it and are allowing it now.
Faculty: During my time, there will be 3 internal exams, followed by practical and semester exams. Teachers are very helpful, and the quality of teaching is average only. As for the difficulty of the semester exams, it's not that much difficult.
Other: I would recommend improving teaching quality. There are some cultural events and symposiums frequently throughout the year. There will be sports day conducted once a year.

According to me, it is a good experience and a good place to learn and grow.
Placements: 80 percent got placed. One thing about REC is that they give specialized training for placements. They conduct summer and winter campuses from the 3rd year, making placement ready in the final year. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters include Cognizant, Accenture, Prodapt, CEI India, Hexaware, and KaaR Technologies. Nearly 20 percent got only an internship, and the remaining 60 percent got an internship plus PPO. The top roles are software engineer.
Infrastructure: Labs are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is provided only in the hostel and labs. Classrooms are neat and clean, and the library is also good. Coming to food, it is nice and tasty. You have a variety of canteens inside the campus which you can use. Medical facilities are also good. Game tournaments are conducted frequently good practice is also given.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but you have to self learn in most cases. Semester exams will be moderate as the question papers are AI-generated. If you are thorough on the syllabus, then it will be easy. The curriculum is industry-specific. 90 percent of students pass the exam.
Other: I am a Computer Science background student, so I chose this. It is a general course, so I could learn about anything in that domain. The main thing that attracts students is the Recharge fest. It will happen for 3 days, great fun with good guests, and also we have Pongal, Onam, and Diwali celebrations. More than that, hackathons, conferences, and symposiums are conducted regularly, and you can even go and connect with people from other colleges, too. Scholarships are also awarded. Extracurricular they are more than 20 clubs, and games and tournaments are conducted frequently.

College offers a perfect blend of studies and campus life.
Placements: Around 75-80 percent of students got placed in my course. The highest package is about 12 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average package is 5.5 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and Amazon visited the campus. About 60 percent of students also got internships in companies like HCL, Capgemini, and startups. The main roles offered are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Consultant.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi in classrooms, computer labs with good systems, and a library with many books and e-resources. The labs are updated and are useful for practical learning. Hostels are neat with basic facilities like cupboards, study tables, and 24/7 water. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen has better options. We also have a medical room, sports grounds, a gym, and indoor games. Overall, the facilities are good for both studies and daily life.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them explain topics clearly and give guidance for projects. The course syllabus is updated with subjects like AI and Cloud, which are useful for jobs. Exams are moderate, not too hard if you studied, and the pass rate is high (around 85 percent).
