Grabing a seat with 83.3 percentile in computer science engineering is very tough. If you belong to certain particular community, then there is a slight chance to get a seat in lower NIT or IIIT, but if you belong to general category or even in OBC there is no chance to get any seat in any NIT/IIT/IIT or good government college.

For getting admission to Petroleum Engg. courses, you should begin by checking the eligibility criteria for the course at your desired colleges. The basic eligibility for UG courses is usually to have at least 50 to 60% marks in the PCM subjects. For PG courses, you should have completed your graduation in Oil Engineering or a related field with at least 55% marks.
Then, you should give relevant entrance tests and get very good marks in the exam to get a seat at some decent college. The next step for you is to fill out the college application form before the last date.

CGC Landran doesn't accept any entrance exam for admission to the M.Tech course. The colleges only accepts the last qualifying exam's score for admission to the M.Tech course. Candidates must have BTech with 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
