A biology student can technically apply for a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology (IT) at L D College of Engineering but should meet the eligibility criteria specified by the institute. Generally, PCM background is needed for courses in engineering. Since you are a biology student, you won't be meeting the requirement unless you've taken additional courses or bridge programs. Technically, a student of biology can apply for BE in Information Technology at L D College of Engineering, but then the student must meet the eligibility criteria of the institute. The eligibility criteria generally require a PCM background for any engineering course.

Arihant College in Indore offers BCA program, It's admission are based on Merit. Minimum marks in higher secondary education is 50% for admission. The cutoff for BCA program from Arihant College is around 170-175 for the year 2023-24. A percentile of 68 in JEE Mains 2024 is really a bad chance for getting into any NIT or IIT because the cutoff ranks for the best colleges are always far lower than 68. Nevertheless, you will have a decent chance for getting admission to some of the lowest-ranked NITs or one of the new IITs, based on branch preference and competition. One would be advised to look for some other engineering college with less admission criteria or again appear for the JEE Mains in the next session in case of improved rank. VIT Vellore offers admission in B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science on the basis of VIT Engineering Entrance Examination. The marks obtained by a candidate must be at a competitive level at IIST-Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology for granting admission. MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, does not accept CUET, Common University Entrance Test scores on its B Tech courses, one of which happens to be the CSE Course. The typical entrance exams will be conducted and students will get admitted based upon the JEE Main scores.

Vinoba Bhave University accepts mutliple entrance exam for its BTech course. Candidates must qualify in any one of the entrance exams to secure admission at the affiliated colleges of the university. Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) are the two major entrance exams accepted by Vinoba Bhave University.

The B E /B Tech course at B S Anangpuria Institute of Technology and Management determines its admission criteria based on academic qualification followed by entrance test performance. Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics aggregate (45% for SC/ST categories).
