South Asian University considers JEE Main scores for admission to BTech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants can also get admission based on their SAU Entrance Test scores. It is a test conducted by the university for admission to BTech and other UG, PG and PhD programmes. Those who are selected have to confirm their seat by paying the programme fee.

The basic BTech courses requirements differ on the basis of the course level, specialisation and the college offering the course. For BTech courses you are generally expected to have at least 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 board exams and for MTech at least 55 to 60% marks in your graduation and entrance exam scores.
Top colleges like the IITs and NITs give BTech admission on the basis of valid entrance exam scores while several private colleges also consider students based on merit and/or GD and PI rounds.
For Engineering Diploma courses, you should have passed Class 10 with at least 50% marks, with Science and Math subjects. Interestingly
