Hello,
NTA has changed JEE Main exam pattern. The best change is decreasing the number of questions. From 90 questions to 75 questions within the same time span, of course a joyous step. Although questions may have double concept like JEE Advanced as from now for every question candidate will have more than 2 minds for JEE Mains paper Also, the negative marking is planned the right way as there is negative marking for objective questions but for numerical answer type questions there is no negative marking. But 15 Questions may turn the whole picture upside down. And there are only 5 numerical based question for each subject I. e. 60 out

Hello,
As JEE Main is now conducted twice a year we can try our luck two times. Officials will consider the best performance out of the two. In January itself you can check yourself that are you ready for April or not. You will give yourself a perfect revision before board exams if you appear for January JEE Mains Exam. Many of aspirants will not have to take drop now. And now when exam pattern is changed too. It is mandatory having an extra attempt to get to know what type of questions there will be is numerical answer type. Also, 2nd attempt helps backfire the mistakes a candidate made in the first attempt of JEE Mains.

Hello,
Now when JEE Main Exam Pattern has been released then we must accept it and we must consider it for better score only. NTA has decreased number of questions in the exam not timing yet difficulty level may increase. As per JEE Main Paper pattern 15 questions have direct answers (with no minus marking) that will help in JEE Advanced preparation as well. There is an option of trail attempt in January. You have to fight for 300 not 360. Likewise previous years this time as well pwd candidates will get 1 hour extra to perform in the exam. So ultimately no major changes have been introduced.
