You can appear for GATE and can get admission in top IITs or NITs to pursue your Masters. Else, you can apply for top private institute entrances like VIT and BITS to pursue Masters which accept GATE score and even has their personal entrance test.

The colleges charging less money are government funded or running by donation money on the other hand the college demanding huge money is profits orientated. Also, there's is difference of facilities. All the best and give a like to answer.
