What is plastic engineering and its scope? Is it better than Computer Science engineering?

Plastic engineering is about the generation of new plastic polymers, like substance quality and nature controlling molding, etc. To suit needs of construction, etc. It is good if done from IIT but nut better than CSE. Plastic engineering can have a rising scope as plastic has become the most widely used material.
