If you have an interest in Instrumentation engineering, then you can go for that, don't go on college reputation, see what will you get after doing instrumentation engineering after 4 years. It is possible that you lose interest in instrumentation engineering in 2nd year and start coding. So, first of all, see placement scenario of the University of Calcutta in Instrumentation engineering, then go for it.

No, this year, JEE Mains result will not be valid next year. You have to pass the JEE Mains exam for admission or for qualification for next exam that is JEE advance exam. You can give JEE advance exam in class 12th and next year only after class 12th. Now, you can give only once JEE advance exam, your one attempt is lost as you didn't given the exam.

They will show first class, because your CGPA is 6.715, and the round off CGPA will be 7.

MCA will be better, if you have completed B.Sc CS. You can also go for M.Tech in CS, which is a good option rather than MCA. All the best.

After completing B.Tech in CS you can apply in companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc. You can also appear for IES (Indian Engineering Services) exam conducted by UPSC. You can appear for GATE exam for ME from different IITs.
