 Candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks from approved college by AICTE. For admissions, you need to appear for Exam conducted by VIT for lateral entry programme. Then you are eligible to take admission in VIT colleges.

ECE is better if you have interest in electronics or else for you civil will be better. In the top 10 NITs, infrastructure for ECE is good. For other NITs, civil will be a good option.
