In order to study MBA from B-School, you need to clear entrance exam, score good marks in class 12th and graduation. That's it. Your maths will matter least since you are from English (Hons) background. So, go ahead. Hope this helps.

Preparation tips for the PUBDET: Get the syllabus. Usually, the seniors are very helpful in this regard. Collect the last 5 years' question papers. Study the theory portion from Resnick-Halliday-Walker/ Sears-Zemansky, if you have used them for your IIT preparation. Otherwise, any standard textbook for Plus Two would suffice. However, familiarity with the two classics I just mentioned would help you once your course commences.
