The University has not released the Calcutta University CSE average package or branch-wise placement statistics 2023 for BTech. However, as per the combined details available in the NIRF report 2024, a total of 199 students were placed during Calcutta University BTech placements 2023. The median package offered to BTech students was INR 10 LPA. Earlier, 305 BTech students were placed in 2022 and the median package stood at INR 9.20 LPA.

No, students cannot join Faculty of law, Calcutta university directly without any entrance test for any course. Students need to qualify in the entrance test in order to get the admission. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education conduts entrance test which is  WBCHSE entrance  exams . Through this entrance exam, students can take admission. A cut off will be released according to the seats intake and applications. Seat intake for different courses is also different and cut off will also be different. Calcutta University accepts CAT exam scores. Based on Calcutta University cutoff 2024, the MBA rank stood at 50.35 for the General AI category candidates. Calcutta University WBJEE JECA Cutoff 2026 is valid for admission to the MCA course for categories under the All India quota.
