To get admission in English (Hons.), your percentage in class 12 exams is considered. Every college releases its own cut off list, till no seat is left vacant. Generally, 10 lists are released.
Your percentage should be equal to or more than the percentage in the cut off lists.
Your percentage is calculated from your best four subjects. You being a science student, have to include: physics/chemistry/maths/ English. You may include your optional subject such as computers/ economics/ history etc. in place of a main subject. Hi Aditya, most IELTS coaching materials are available online. A number of audio video books are also available. You may or may not take a coaching. It is upto you. Enrolling into coaching will help you communicate face to face in English with your teachers and batch-mates which may not be possible in an online home class. So it is upto you to decide.

I suggest that you should practice reading English paragraphs loudly. You check the sound of all difficult words. Then, read loudly. Repeat and each time, use a new tune. If you practice this way for a couple of months, you will find yourself fluent.
