Anyone who wants to pursue a career in event management must have many qualities like leadership qualities, public relationship skills, marketing and business development skills, risk management skills, budgeting skills, etc.
- Some of these qualities are inborn and the rest can be cultivated. Many universities provide different courses for event management that help brush these qualities.
- There are courses from a Diploma to a degree to Graduation. Majorly, there are three types of event management courses; Diploma in Event Management (DEM), Post Graduate Diploma in Event Management (PGDEM), and Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising, Media

A BBA degree may offer an individual an entree level job in any good organisation though an expertise diploma/experience coupled with it can broaden the prospectives. Like BBA + Graphic designing is preferred in an advertising/digital marketing agency, BBA + CA is a good combination too. BBA + experience of managing events can earn a good job and the list goes on.

All these career options are very different from one another. I would suggest you go for a professional career and opt for any for these as a simultaneous career. This will help you decide that whether you actually want any of these careers as your full-time career or not.
Take up anything you are good at. And make a career into the same.
