Inter National Institute of Fashion Design, Bhubaneswar has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
CertificateCandidates who have completed 10+3 years of any vocational course/polytechnic are also eligible to apply.
UG DiplomaCandidate passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
B.Sc.Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
After 10th DiplomaCandidate passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are also eligible to apply.

Candidates who have twelve years of school education with minimum of five subjects by the National Open School or from a recognised board are eligible for the BDes at NIFT Chennai. Additionally, as per the Institution's guidelines, candidate's maximum age should be less than 24 years (5 years relaxation in upper age for people from reserved categories). Now candidates are only required to appear for the NIFT entrance exam for BDes admission.

The eligibility criteria for the Fashion Design course in India do vary from college to college, but the basic eligibility criteria followed by them have been mentioned below:

  • Aspirants who have cleared their Class 12 from any stream (ScienceCommerceArts) can pursue a Fashion Design course at the graduate level. 
  • For PG level, aspirants who have completed a similar course at the graduate level are preferred for admission.
  • Students are advised to appear for popular common entrance exams to increase their chances of getting accepted into best Fashion Designing Colleges in India.

First, you have not mentioned a college name. Age criteria depend on college to college and also depend upon the category you belong to. The maximum age limit is not required for private fashion design colleges like Symbiosis Institute of Design Pune and Pearl Academy Delhi. In these Institutes, you are eligible for doing fashion design courses at the age of 25 years. However, the maximum age limit for India's fashion design institutes like the National Institute of Fashion Technology is less than 24 years for the general category and the maximum age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 years for candidates of SC, ST, and PWD categori
