NID Exam Date 2023: Seat Allotment OUT (B.Des), Fee Payment and Document Upload Deadline

NID DAT 2023 Dates - The National Institute of Design (NID) has declared Round I seat allotment for the B.Des program on May 25, 2023.

Candidates who have been allotted seats need to pay the seat acceptance fee and upload documents by May 31, 2023 (by 12 midnight).

Earlier, the institute declared the DAT Mains results for the M.Des program on May 18, while the DAT Mains results for the B.Des program were announced on May 19, 2023. 

The final results of NID DAT 2023 were prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

The National Institute of Design conducted the B.Des DAT Mains Studio Test on April 30; meanwhile, the DAT Mains exam for the M.Des program was held from March 20- April 23, 2023. Candidates who qualified DAT Prelims were eligible to appear in the DAT Mains exam. 

DAT Prelims results for the B.Des were announced on March 30, 2023. NID DAT 2023 (Prelims) results for the M.Des program were announced earlier on February 28, 2023. 

The National Institute of Design conducted the NID DAT 2023 Prelims exam on January 8, 2023.

NID DAT Important Exam Events & Dates

Candidates can go through the list of important NID exam events below:

• NID DAT Application Form Dates: Candidates had to fill out the NID 2023 application form, which will include steps like registration, uploading of documents, and payment of the exam fee. 

• NID DAT Admit Card Dates: The call letter/admit card for NID Entrance Exam (Prelims) was available for download on January 2, 2023. 
• NID DAT 2023 (Prelims): The first stage of the NID admission process is DAT (Prelims), which is a written test that comprises objective as well as subject questions. 
• NID Prelims Result Dates: Candidates can check results for the NID entrance exam on the official website by providing details such as their email address, date of birth, and roll number/application number. 
• NID DAT (Mains) 2023: Candidates who meet the NID DAT (Prelims) cut-off have to next appear for NID DAT (Mains), which includes a Studio Test; M.Des candidates also need to appear in a Personal Interview round. In the Studio Test for NID admissions aspirants are given hands-on practical assignments that they need to complete in the stipulated time.
• NID Final Merit List Date: On the basis of a candidate's performance in NID DAT (Prelims) and NID DAT (Mains), the final merit list for NID admissions is prepared. Aspirants can check the merit list for NID admissions on the official website of the exam.

The NID DAT 2023 exam was held on January 8, 2023. The National Institute of Design (NID) announced the results of the M.Des program on February 28, 2023. This was followed by a declaration of exam results for the B.Des program on March 16, 2023.

The National Institute of Design conducted the Studio Test and Personal Interview for the M.Des courses from March 20-April 23, 2023; candidates were for DAT Mains based on DAT Prelims scores.

DAT Mains for the M.Des program was held on April 30, 2023.

The final results of NID DAT 2023 will be announced on May 18, 2023.
