The syllabus for the design aptitude test is prescribed by the exam conducting authority, the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). With this, the exam pattern is also decided by it. The candidate must note that SID reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary to the exam syllabus. So, the candidate must consult the updated exam pattern when strating their exam preparation. Note that typically wholesale changes to the exam syllabus is not done.

The syllabus for the SEED exam 2024 will be released online at sid.edu.in. It will contain the section-wise topics that candidates need to practice for the design entrance exam.

The candidate can download the official syllabus of SEED 2024 from the official website of the Symbiosis Institute of Design - sid.edu.in. In the homepage of SID, click on “Admission Process” under “Programmes.” The window that opens will contain information on the SEED 2024 syllabus. The candidate can note down the syllabus. Ideally, a digital portfolio should be a compilation of the best works showcasing the candidate's skills, passion and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. The cutoff for BDes in Textile Design at NIFT Bangalore is 701 for the year 2022. Admission to the BDes Textile Design programme is entrance based. Candidates are required to appear for NIFT Entrance Exam. NIFT cutoff depends on variables like seat matrix, category of the candidate, total applications, category, Common Merit Rank (CMR) of the candidate in NIFT 2023, and the popularity (or ranking) of the institute.
