If you wish to opt for the BTech Food Technology course, you should have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology subjects, with at least 50 to 60% marks. Further, you must appear for and clear relevant BTech Food Technology entrance exams conducted at the national/state/university levels every year for admission to BTech courses in various specializations including Food Technology.
In addition, you should always visit the official websites of the universities you're targeting to crosscheck if they have any other specific requirements.

When choosing between VIT, SRM, and UPES for a B.Tech in food technology, you can consider factors such as research, specialization, and practical learning.

One of my fried is studying at UPES and its  B.Tech in food technology programme at the School of Health Sciences and Technology offers specializations like food biotechnology and food plant engineering. The programme includes hands-on training, industrial visits, and a thesis support process. Students receive scientific writing training, followed by six months of research and thesis support as well.

Certainly! Here's a more concise version:

MSc Food Technology is an academic, research-focused programme that dives deep into food science, technology, and innovations. It's perfect if you're aiming for roles in research, development, or academia. You'll gain advanced knowledge in areas like food chemistry and microbiology.

On the other hand, M.Voc Food Technology is a vocational, industry-oriented course that emphasizes practical skills for immediate application in the workforce. It prepares you for roles in food processing, production management, and quality control, focusing on real-world scenarios and operational skills.

To get direct admission to the M.Sc. Food Technology programme at Jiwaji University, you'll need to meet the eligibility criteria, which usually includes having a B.Sc. in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field, with a minimum percentage of around 50-55%.

The admission process could be merit-based, meaning your undergraduate marks will be considered. Some programs might require an entrance exam, while others don't, so it's important to check the latest details on the university's website. You'll need to submit necessary documents like your academic transcripts and ID proof.
