No, a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) student cannot apply for admission to the B.Tech in Food Engineering and Technology in the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. ICT needs the candidates to have Math as well as Physics and Chemistry in Class 12, as per eligibility requirements.

To be granted admission into JDT Islam College of Arts and Science's B.Sc Food Technology course, applicants should have undergone Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Scheduled Castes (SC) students should have a minimum of 45% since it is just a notch below the regular minimum. This eligibility requirement will make sure that students have a basic understanding required to excel in the program.

No, there is no direct entry into the B.Tech. in Food Technology course at Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS), Kochi. They take admission according to merit by means of the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) exam, which is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Candidates should pass the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths and obtain not less than 50% of the marks. The course is spread over eight semesters in four years of study, and the total fee for tuition is INR 2.64 Lakh. An admission fee of INR 15,000 is also charged once.
