Yes, you can study B.Sc. Geology after completion of your Diploma Electronics and Communication Engineering course. Candidates who have passed three years Diploma in Electronics course are eligible to get lateral entry admission in second year of three years B.Sc. Zoology course.

The job opportunities for geologists are increasing day by day. After getting the degree from reputed institutes or universities, you can work both in domestic as well as international arena. There are many other area where you can work like mineralogy, volcanology, hydrology or oceanography. Those working in environmental geology can work for private companies or consulting firms to help them in manage water resources. Geologists can work in the industries related to mining, oil and gas, minerals and water resources. They can also employ in the college and universities as a teacher. Regards.

It will be difficult to choose between two, they are almost equally good. You can compare the research activities and career support of each. McGill university overall has higher ranking than Alberta.

Hi Abhishek,
Eligibility for B.Sc. In Geology. The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognised educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 55%.
