Like German applicants, foreign students applying for admission to study at TUM must also have a higher education entrance qualification. If the school-leaving degree is not comparable to the German university entrance qualification, direct admission can only be granted after attending Studienkollegs (preparatory studies) and after having taken the university qualification assessment examination. Further information is available in the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) brochure "Studying in Germany”.

It is difficult to get job directly based on Indian University degrees and experience in Germany unless you have super specialist skills because of visa restrictions and challenges. Higher studies in Germany ease out visa challenges for a job in Germany. Precise advice can be shared only based on exact details of your education and experience.

You don't need to worry about 3 GPA. It is for EEU or American students. For Indians, we have to qualify IELTS and GRE exam as per the demand of the college.

Both the areas are good and have an immense scope. Material Science which is an interdisciplinary degree is offered only by a few top universities as Master's degree. Materials engineering graduates have jobs in materials-based industries such as vehicle construction and mechanical engineering, chemical industry, information and communication technologies, energy supply, electrical engineering/electronics and metal production and processing. German higher education institutes requires applicants to complete 13 years of education, hence Jai you must complete an additional year of education and cannot apply after 12th. Typically students from India complete their first year of a Bachelor's degree program and then apply to German universities. There are other options like Studienkolleg and an entrance called JEE Advance, this information can be found on the DAAD website. Please take a look. Your grades are very good so chances are good too.
