Hi Vaidehi,
Education in Germany is free of cost. What they charge is a minimal semester fee mostly. Programs too are delivered both in English and German except the national universities. Please recheck with the eligibility and requirements before applying. You may also refer to this link-

Hi Sarang,
Irrespective of the program you wish to pursue in Germany you must have high academic standing. Also, the program you study in future must be related to your previous education. Kindly share your grades for better guidance.

Dear Asad, on the whole upper first class is recommended. No matter which level of study you are in, excellent academic performance is required. Above 80% in terms of percentage system in India is the suggested score.

Hi Shubham,
You must hold a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Since German universities are so competitive you must have very high academic grades. GRE or GATE is not mandatory but you can choose to take the tests. As an international student you must also take TOEFL or IELTS. German language knowledge will definitely help. You may refer DAAD website for more information. Hope this helps.

Hi Vinit,
To be a permanent resident in Germany you must have lived in the country for five uninterrupted years, you must check with the embassy for the time frame and updates. After eight years or so you can apply for German citizenship. If you are planning to study, probably that is a better way to get acquainted with the customs of the country. Graduates are eligible for work permit after studies. Getting a job becomes the first priority after graduation. For visa process and updates check with the German embassy.

Hi Zakki,
Education is almost free of cost in Germany except the universities do charge a small semester free. For MBA however business schools like Mannheim and Frankfurt do not offer free education. Take a look at the Freie University Berlin and Berlin School of Economics website if they have MBA. Good Luck
